eve online gameplay abyss fail: 30M implants, calm gamma&firestorm&exotic&death: devoted knight

Hi, today I failed and lost to the Devoted Knight. Unfortunately this has happened to me many times, and I felt a great sense of deep sadness when this happened. On the positive side, I was only gambling with 170 mil isk, which is alot but not a huge waste. I have to seriously reconsider playing with the Retribution. Maybe I will just play Tranquil.... but calm is beating me down right now. I do not know how to beat the Devoted Knight. I used a battery, yet I got neuted at over 15km, unable to hit back or maintain a capacitor. Maybe I need to change how I fly, but once I get near I…
