Vaylin Kord and Aeliana Soren, pursued by their enemy Dark Bliss, escape a dangerous encounter using a filament, only to find themselves stranded and needing to navigate treacherous stargates. A fight with a Vagabond cruiser leads to a chance discovery of a wormhole to Jovian space, where they find an ancient Eidolon ship but face the wrath of Drifters. They escape with a valuable piece of technology, but their troubles are far from over, as both Dark Bliss and the Jovians now pose threats.
