I reflected on this question, inspired by the Fanfest announcement of Cradle of War (playing in the background), and thinking what makes me want to play EVE in 2026. For me, its been a very exciting start of the year, and May has also held some surprises and some rumors coming true. With CCP buying itself back to become Fenris Creations, it also inspires hope for me in how EVE will continue to evolve. There's some interesting things in there too - about the partnership with Deep Mind and how AI might help shape our New Eden in the future - but there's also new content focused on Faction…
