The Rifter was over-shadowed by the newly boosted Slasher after the Retribution expansion, however, the Rifter was changed in a recent Rubicon point release to swap the Tracking Bonus for a Falloff Bonus, which has improved it considerably. The Rifter is a fantastic Scram-Edge range kiter, able to put the majority of it's on paper damage to scram & web range.
