The Claw is slower and has less damage and projection than the Crusader does, but, it does offer an utility high (nos or neut is recommended) capless weapons, more buffer and selectable damage types. I prefer to go with a neut in the utility high, because it helps versus a few match-ups in 1v1 scenarios.
